We, Franklin van Ipenburg and Arjen van der Ree, have been making music together since our high school days. Back then, we recorded our own compositions on 4-track cassette recorders, always experimenting and refining our sound. Over the years, we played in various bands, exploring different styles and influences.
Now, we’ve picked up where we left off — writing new songs and recording them with modern technology. We’re also revisiting some of our early compositions, giving them a second chance with fresh arrangements and a new perspective. Join us on this journey as we blend the past with the present, creating music that stays true to our roots while embracing the future.

FRIENDS FROM HIGH SCHOOL
Decades ago, when we were young
About 40 years ago, Arjen came to Franklin's to play his Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer. It turned out we both played instruments. From that point on, we started composing and recording our own music. Initially on tape recorders and 4-track cassette recorders. Using the equipment we had at the time, like small Casio keyboards, we pushed them to their limits.
